Professions of the Future

Everyone who does what he/she likes, is counted among the lucky ones. And when there is a demand for him/her in the market place, then he/she can be exceptionally satisfied. In a recent PROFIT club we spoke, not only about how to obtain your dream job, but also about professions that could be the dream job for future generations.
When you speak with people around you, you will find out that few of them go to work everyday with a smile on their face. According to a survey by the consulting company GANDER group, nearly two-thirds of us devote our time and efforts each day to something that we don’t enjoy. A similar percentage of people have the feeling that they’re not involved enough in their work, while seventy percent admit that they are working in a field other than what they studied. Does this also seem like a waste of time and talent to you?
The world is changing. These imminent changes also offer us the opportunity to stop this wasting of time and effort. According to analysts from the British division of GANDER Analyses, this year we will begin to feel the changes in a number of established processes. Within four years some positions, which we are used to today, will have disappeared from the market, while, on the other hand, several new ones will have also appeared. Those who are able to catch this trend will enjoy excellent perspectives. However, if there is no change in the approach to education, some professions will be extremely scarce.
